Acadia Insurance Introduces New Correction of Work Coverage to Printers
Optional benefits enhance Printers Errors and Omissions Coverage
WESTBROOK, Maine (July 05, 2017) – Acadia Insurance, a Berkley Company®, enhances its Printers Errors and Omissions Coverage with the introduction of new Correction of Work Coverage. This new product offering helps printers minimize Errors and Omissions claims by providing costs for corrections without requiring proof of negligence.
The Correction of Work Coverage is designed to cover costs associated with printing service errors made by the insured including:
- Costs of withdrawal or inspection of defective work
- Expenses for communication, transportation or disposal of defective work
- Wages paid to employees or independent contractors to correct printing services
- Fees to correct, replace and/or redistribute work
“Correction of Work Coverage is an important addition to our product offering and helps us further tailor our products to address the unique exposures that businesses in the print industry face,” said Dave LeBlanc, chief underwriting and marketing officer, Acadia Insurance. “In the event an error does occur on a job, printers want to be able to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Correction of Work Coverage offers limits up to $250,000 and is available to new and existing print business customers with Printers Errors and Omissions Coverage.
