Hurricane / Catastrophe Preparendness
Hurricane/Catastrophe Preparedness
Hurricanes pose a significant weather-related threat to businesses in the Northeast– not just due to the immediate risk of property damage and destruction, but particularly due to the aftermath and length of time required to make repairs and get the business and community back up and running.
As with any catastrophe, be it natural or man-made, having a well established contingency plan in place is critical to helping a business survive after a significant loss. Combined with appropriate employee training, in which employees understand their roles and responsibilities within the plan, will result in fewer and less severe employee injuries and less structural damage to the site during emergencies.
Our loss control representatives can review established plans or help develop emergency action plans for our customers to help them recover as quickly as possible after a catastrophe loss or event.
